Do I have to pay for updates?

Patches and updates within a certain release series are always free of charge. However some of the new features will only be available if you signed a software maintenance contract. These features will become available for everyone in the next release series.
An update to a new release series is not for free, except for systems with maintenance contract.

The purchase of an update gives you the opportunity to sign a software maintenance contract.
